How do I find out what my PIN is?
Your PIN is CHANGEME. Once you have logged into your account you may change your PIN.

What if I do not remember my library card number?
Call the Boonville-Warrick County Public Library at (812) 897-1500 for your library card number.

Why can't I login?
The newest version of the Library Portal supports these browsers:
Internet Explorer 8.x, 9.x Windows, Macintosh
Google Chrome 4.x Windows
Mozilla Firefox 3.x, 4.x Windows
Safari 4.0x, 5.0x Macintosh

The login box is a pop up window so you may need to add http://boonvillelib.org to your list of allowed sites. The Place Hold box and the item detail screen are also pop up boxes.

Firefox users:
Firefox user may have to clear their History. We ask that patrons go to Options, then Privacy and clear their current History (different versions have slightly different variations for accomplishing this). Close Firefox and reopen it before attempting to login to the Library Portal.

How do I place a hold?
Enter your search terms in the search box, choose the fields you want to search and click search. To the left of your search results are facets that allow you to refine your search. When you find a title you want to reserve, click on Place a Hold. Enter your library card number and PIN and click on Login. Select the pickup location and click on Place Hold. If you are already logged in you will only be asked for the pickup location.

Does the Library have computers I can use?
The Boonville-Warrick County Public Library and Branches offer computers to access the Internet, to search Online Databases, to use office productivity software, and to access education software for children. A valid Library card is required to use these computers. There is a limit of 2 hours if all the computers are in use. Please bring an USB memory disk if you need to save your work.

How do I get a Boonville-Warrick County Public Library System card?

A Library card is available to residents or property owners in the library district, which include townships of Anderson, Boon, Campbell, Greer, Hart, Lane, Owen, Pigeon and Skelton in Warrick County, Indiana.

Bring a current official photo ID with your correct address to any Library location or something that shows your current address.

If you had a card and need to replace it, bring your current ID and a $1.00 replacement fee to the Boonville-Warrick County Public Library or its Branches and get a new card.

How much are overdue fines?

Item:
Books, Audio Books, DVDs, Videos, Music CDs, Magazines – $.05 each for every day late (14 day loan period)
Art Reproduction – $1.00 each for every day late (3 month loan period)

A maximum fee of $25 will be charged IF all the overdue items are returned at the same time. If an item becomes lost, damaged or is unreturned, you will be charged the cost to replace the item plus $1.00 processing fee.

In order for you or your child to use library computers or check out any library materials, your account must not have fines in excess of $4.99 and must not have any items overdue. When fines reach $5.00 on any account, the account becomes blocked until the fine is paid under $5.00. The Library has Internet computers and wireless access for all card holders in good standing.
