Teen Room

The Boonville-Warrick County Public Library’s Teen Room is a dedicated teens-only space open to middle and high school students. This is a space where teens can read, study, work on schoolwork, or just hang out with friends! Our teen librarian is available to help find or recommend books (whether for leisure or research), assist with some homework (ELA and social studies), and proofread essays and writing assignments.

Teen Room Policy

The Teen Room is specifically designed to serve the needs of teens ages 12 through 18, or grades 7 through 12. For the comfort and safety of our teens, the Teen Room will adopt a teen-only policy.

Adults and children under 12 may visit the Teen Room when retrieving young adult materials for checkout, but are asked to relocate to other sections of the library afterward. To ensure the focus of the Teen Room remains on serving our teens, any teens who wish to sit with adults and children under 12 are asked to utilize other sections of the library. This applies even if there are no other teens actively utilizing the space.
